I keep getting calls from people who think that since I used to own a website development company, I can help them with their own custom web design. I quit the business about ten years ago, when I sold my company for enough money, that I can just work jobs here and there and will never have to worry about money again.

I try and give the people who call a good website development company to call since I have no desire to ever start building sites again. In fact, I have a very good friend who also started up a custom website design company when I had mine and his is still going strong. I know that he does charge quite a bit of money for his sites, so I am careful about which people that I refer to him and which I do not.

My sixteen year old daughter is thinking about going to college to study website design since there are many new things that I do not even know about. She wants to learn all the new latest and greatest things that go into creating a site. She has dreams of opening her own company just like I used to have, but she thinks that I should help her get it started and that does not sound like fun to me at all.
